Katerina Kvit brand was founded in 2010 by designer Katerina Kvit. Katerina received a university degree in economics, and at the same time she enrolled at the Instituto Marangoni in Milan to study Fashion business. That’s when the first ideas about creating her own collection of women’s clothing appeared. The brand was successfully launched, and soon took part in Fashion Scout Kiev, and then in the main program of Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days shows. The shows received positive reviews from the press and critics; and socialite heroes, it girls, bloggers and trendsetters signed up as fans of the brand. Now Katerina Kvit is a permanent resident of Ukrainian Fashion Week.
The designer works in the style of sports-chic, adding a touch of femininity to practical and utilitarian models, but in her own recognizable manner. “In Katerina Kvit’s collections, I often use a restrained color palette. I mix colors and shades very carefully, trying to express the complexity through cut and silhouette shapes,” says Katerina Kvit. For Katerina Kvit, leather has always been one of the most important materials and the basis of the brand’s DNA. Among the main characteristics are femininity, laconism, simple lines but complex materials and combinations. Simplicity hides real skill, for example, the ability to play with one color by combining different textures. The designer admits that she likes to work with fabrics that hold their shape well. It is for this, as well as for the perfect fit on the figure, many customers remain loyal to the brand Katerina Kvit from season to season.
The key models are things that create street style mood and are considered trendy and relevant among different generations. Katerina Kvit pantsuits are particularly beautiful. The right choice of this ensemble is considered to be a difficult task, but Katerina surprisingly offers win-win variants both in cut and fit, skillfully balancing masculinity and femininity. Today Katerina Kvit is a well-known brand in Ukraine with a studio and a showroom in the center of Kiev, a well-coordinated team, and a clear positioning in the market. Its audience is self-sufficient girls who are confident in themselves and in their choices.
